MAKING TRAINING FUN

Start early--the same energy it takes for the puppy or kitten to learn a bad habit can be used to create a good one…concentrate more on good behavior than focusing on the bad….

Keep the training sessions short and always end on a positive note…

Stay away from any training devices that cause pain---prong collars, electric shock collars or over zealous instructers.

Introduce distractions gradually as you and your pet gain more confidence.

Practice at different times and in different locations to prevent bordom..

If you become frustrated stop, have a cup of chamomile tea, and try again later…

If your pet is having difficulty learning a specific command, make sure it is not a physical problem.

Always remember you're not perfect and don't expect your pet to be….

Have fun…and make sure your pet enjoys his education………….
